Delete Your Account in the App
PeptidePal (formerly Pep Pal) lets you delete your account from inside the app. This action is irreversible. Before deleting, review the sections below about Community posts, device-scoped records, website analytics, and subscriptions.
- Open PeptidePal and go to Settings.
- Under Account, choose Delete Account.
- Review the warning and confirm when prompted.
What the In-App Flow Removes
- Your authentication account and associated sign-in identifier and email address.
- Your profile and account-linked onboarding, demographic, preference, and health-observation records.
- Your account-scoped progress photos and other private files covered by the deletion flow.
- Your Community profile, pseudonym, votes, reports, blocks, and account association, subject to operational and legal retention.
- Local PeptidePal data cleared by the app, including locally stored protocols, dose logs, stacks, schedules, health observations, injection-site history, progress-photo references, chat history, and preferences.
If local data remains because the flow was interrupted, uninstalling the app removes remaining local application storage from that device. Information in device backups is controlled by your operating-system and backup settings.
Records That May Remain
- Community posts. Published questions and answers may remain under a generic, disassociated identity. Delete your posts before deleting your account or identify them in an email request if you want them reviewed.
- Device-scoped usage reports. Daily protocol-usage reports stored under a one-way hash of a device identifier, rather than your account identifier, may not be reachable through account deletion and may remain in product-research records.
- Analytics and attribution. Device-scoped or pseudonymous events and attribution records held by Blank Labs, PostHog, TelemetryDeck, Meta, AppsFlyer, Appstack, or other providers may remain according to applicable law, provider contracts, and retention practices.
- Transactions and referrals. Records may be retained or detached from your account as needed for tax, accounting, fraud prevention, chargebacks, provider reconciliation, and legal compliance.
- Security, legal, support, consent, and backups. Limited records may remain where reasonably necessary to protect the Services, comply with law, resolve disputes, document choices, provide support, enforce agreements, or complete backup deletion cycles.
You may email us to request deletion of additional identifiable records. We will evaluate the request under applicable law and explain any denial or exception that applies. The app's account-deletion flow cannot guarantee deletion of data that is not linked to the account identifier.
Website Analytics and Privacy Choices
If website product analytics are configured and you consent, funnel events use a random funnel identifier. If you submit or authenticate an email during that journey, PostHog merges those events into an email-keyed PostHog person profile. We do not send your Supabase account identifier to PostHog.
To request deletion, email help@blanklabs.io from the email address you submitted or authenticated. If no email was provided, include the funnel identifier stored by peptidepal.health in your browser. We use an available identifier to propagate a deletion request to PostHog under the applicable provider process. Live production provider configuration and deletion behavior were not verified for this update.
You can use Website Privacy Choices to withdraw product analytics consent or advertising measurement independently. Withdrawal stops future optional events and clears PostHog browser persistence; a deletion request is still needed to seek removal of events already received. Global Privacy Control forces both optional website categories off.
Subscriptions Must Be Canceled Separately
Deleting your PeptidePal account, deleting the app, or uninstalling the app does not cancel an Apple App Store, Google Play, or Stripe subscription.
- Apple App Store: manage or cancel at apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions.
- Google Play: manage or cancel through Google Play or at play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions.
- Stripe direct web checkout: email help@blanklabs.io from the purchase email address. Sending an email does not itself cancel the subscription; cancellation is complete when support confirms it.
Cancellation and refunds are governed by the applicable purchase channel, our Terms of Service, our Refund Policy, and any non-waivable rights under applicable law.
If You Cannot Access the App
Email help@blanklabs.io from the address associated with your account with the subject "Delete my PeptidePal account." Include enough information to identify the account and say whether you also want identifiable Community posts, website analytics, or other records reviewed. We may request information reasonably necessary to verify your identity and will process verified requests as required by applicable law.
Privacy and Health-Data Rights
Account deletion is one way to request deletion, but it is not the only privacy right you may have. Review our Privacy Policy and Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy for access, deletion, consent-withdrawal, appeal, and contact information.
